And yes, boys and girls, uptown New Orleans is under yet another boil water advisory.

When I went to bed last night, I was congratulating myself for not visiting my daughter in Philly, which is getting about 2 ft of snow.

Joke is on me.

Just now visited the #SWBNO page about the boil water advisory, clicked on the map, and the area that was red yesterday is now green, except along several blocks of Upperline and Loyola—BUT no notice has gone out from #NOLAReady, SWBNO, or news media. I don't trust it.

And this is why the sewerage and water board boil advisory page is the first thing I check every morning.
Let's go #NOLA!

Is it just me, or does anyone else in New Orleans start their day by checking the Sewerage and Water Board website to see if you're under a boil water advisory?
It's my very first thing. (well before I brush my teeth, make coffee, or take a shower.)

Just opened my bill from the New Orleans Sewerage and Water Board.

It shows an average daily use of -1,012 gallons with a commensurate credit on the bill.

I did not know I could send water into the system, kind of like net metering for solar.

Cool.
