At the 5th International Conference, the Ukraine Ed Cluster highlighted how the international community can take to strengthen monitoring systems.
Dr. Julia Dicum representing @unrwa.org reminded us that in protracted crises, schools become the last anchor of hope and stability, making their protection a moral + legal imperative.

Ten years after adopting #SafeSchoolsDeclaration, @gcpea.bsky.social joined @norwayingeneva.norway.no, along side Argentina, Nigeria, Spain, Kenya & other partners to support Kenya’s Permanent Mission in Geneva ahead of the 5th International Safe Schools Conference in Nairobi in December.

International Humanitarian Law protects people during conflict & helps ensure humanitarian assistance reaches those in need, w/o discrimination.
