A turnstone (also called a ruddy turnstone) walking along the salt marshes in Brancaster Staithe. It's walking towards the left side of the image, one foot in front of the other. The bird's plumage is dark brown, black, and white. While it's back and wings have just flecks of white, its underparts are a crisp white. It also has bright orange legs.
