The #SaltMarch, also known as the #SaltSatyagraha, #DandiMarch, and the #DandiSatyagraha, was an act of non violent #CivilDisobedience in #colonial India, led by #MahatmaGandhi.
Gandhi's Salt March began March 12 1930 as a protest leveraging peaceful nonviolent civil disobedience against the British salt monopoly. Protesters marched 240 miles from Sabarmati to Dandi, over 24 days ending April 6.
