Oiled Mild Steel Sculpture by Anthony Caro, outside the Key Theatre in Peterborough

Steel sculpture with our Karen for scale.

Lagoon by Anthony Caro (1924-2013)

This sculpture has an interesting history. Acquired by Peterborough Sculpture Trust in 1984 it was put up for sale in 2011 but disowned by Caro who claimed it had been altered. It failed to sell and is now installed at the Key Theatre.
