Found this etymology of #Aas in the 🇫🇷 civil parish of #Saubrigues (40). The hamlet stands on a hill (aas or ås, in 🇳🇴/🇸🇪/🇩🇰 ) around 35 meters above the nearby moor.

No basque, neither proto-bs or proto-bananas. This is pure scandinavian.
