How a sperm bank for cheetahs might one day save the fastest land animal American zoologist Laurie Marker has been collecting and storing specimens in a cheetah sperm bank in Namibia for 35 years, hoping conservationists never have to use them.

Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia has sperm samples from approximately 400 cheetahs and counting and are stored at ultralow temperatures in liquid nitrogen. Read more to learn about its importance. #savethecheetah

In Namibia 🇳🇦, these incredible canines help keep #cheetahs in the wild with a loud bark, strong bite, and imposing presence as non-lethal deterrents. 🐾 #savethecheetah
