Saxifraga stolonifera, as it says in the name, bears stolons, which are slender (usually), above-ground, horizontal stems that bear plantlets at their tips. A mother plant can produce enough clones to cover and claim a patch. #Saxifragaceae #clone #botany 🌾🧪🌱
