School shoe on my desk. The sole is coming away from the upper.

School shoe repair equipment on my desk. A sharpie, a roll of black EVA foam, a pair of scissors, a can of spray contact adhesive.

“Sir! Can you fix my shoe?”

The usual problem is that the sole is coming away from the upper.

My speedy fix is to cut a piece of EVA foam and glue it between sole and upper.

Shoes should last longer than one term!!
