A Scotch Egg (hardboiled egg, surrounded by meat, covered in breadcrumbs) cut in two fairly cleanly.

This is the 2nd Scotch Egg I've had in my life. It turns out making them isn't difficult, but they're a bit fiddly and very filling.

I remain unclear when I was meant to add in the Scotch.

Scotch Egg is a soft-boiled egg wrapped in sausage & bread crumbs, deep-fried and served over red pepper jelly. I had never seen nor heard of a Scotch Egg before visiting the tavern that day. It was DELICIOUS!! I could have eaten an entire meal of these eggs, they were that good.
