#SeaDevilsRedux is a solid update of the classic story that maintains the charm of the original whilst also sprinkling in some nuggets for #TheWarBetween . The ending feels a tad rushed but the crew working on these re-edits seem to really have a grip of the process. More please.

Clive Morton and Martin Boddey are both very good as respectively Trenchard and Walker. Very sad coincidence that both of them died 3 years after this story was shown. #DoctorWho #SeaDevilsRedux
So Trenchard gets killed, one of the more sympathetic characters of the story, and in comes Walker, one of the most repugnant characters in the show’s history. Not a fair swap. #DoctorWho #SeaDevilsRedux

#DoctorWho / #SeaDevilsRedux (BBC tonight). Shame BBC destroyed a great "Television Club" film about the making of that story, which I saw *twice* the week before the first episode aired in Feb 1972. Ironically, I was off sick from school, so I got lucky. Made me (aged 10) want to work in telly.
