Tsukiya and her friends and family must pick up the pieces. Yet, Tsukiya has a new problem: they can see ghosts, including the ghostly after-image of her grandfather. An eighteen-year-old secret is revealed, yet it only leaves more questions than answers. As Tsukiya takes over as Hokage for Kakashi temporarily, their questions are answered by the ghost of Danzō after he possesses Sakumo's body in his attempt to ruin everything Sakumo worked hard to rebuild. Getting his body back and Danzō's spirit officially locked away forever is the easy part, however. Meanwhile, Kakashi is hunting down an individual rumored to be his beloved father, committing robberies and murders. Although Sakumo's comrades are wont to turn their backs on him, Kakashi and co know it's not him. However, the truth may be more than any of them bargained for.

Being a genin is all about learning how to put things from the academy into practice, including learning how to control emotions. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop their teammate Minamoto Ryouichi from making fun of them for it. Morino Ibiki is not going to stand idly by and let them take the crap. He takes them under his wing, training them in the use of genjutsu as a way to help them gain confidence. As they start their training, however, Sandaime sends the team on their first C-Rank mission: to a village known as Kuridaka. However, they are unprepared for the sudden change into a B-Rank one. Ryouichi is still bent on harassing Tsukiko, and Tsukiko must learn how to either stand up for herself or risk failing this mission.

I'm rewriting/revamping some of Tsukiya's first story (Including trying to include more instances of gender confuzzlement), and so I posted the new Chapter 1 <3
