Shakespeare in the Squares Returns with ‘Taming of the Shrew’ in 2025 Touring theatre company revives Shakespearean comedy across 27 of London’s green spaces Shakespeare in the Squares returns to London this summer with an ambitious revival of The Taming of the Shrew, reimagined for 2025 audiences with a blend of classic verse and toe-tapping 1950s and '60s pop. From June 4 to July 12, the company will present 33 performances across 27 garden squares and public spaces, beginning in Leinster Square and culminating in the historic surrounds of the Actors' Church Gardens.
