#OnThisDay 1881, 3 Midland Railway workers were injured when the old #Sharnbrook viaduct collapsed on them.
William Bell & John Fairey survived, but Jonathan Easey died in hospital. They had been removing the viaduct which was of a 'dangerous character'.
