SEI researchers Chuck Young and Doug Chalmers completed a field visit to the #ShastaRiver and #ScottRiver watersheds in May. 🌊

This visit will help inform SEI's work to build water allocation models in these watersheds, balancing community need with aquatic habitat protections.

On May 7, the North Coast Regional Water Board will consider renewing water quality protections for the Scott and Shasta Watersheds through proposed Order R1-2025-0011.
