Just finished Ginger Root's Shinbangumi, and as a guy who is tired by the cynical use of 80's Japan nostalgia, vaporwave, and city pop, man, I LOVED THIS MOVIE.
I hope this gets that same love that Interstella 5555 did back in the day.
I am now a fan!!

#GingerRoot #Shinbangumi. Well, that was interesting. An "aggressive elevator music" or City Pop styled Indie band does a movie for the latest album. Sure is an interesting video. I could probably be a fan of this band in another way. But this was a fun little change. Shame I could stay up for it.
