Tsutomu Mizushima is one of the few anime director who doesn't "just" direct, but does actual work by often being the only storyboarder and ep director of a episode (he has done half of the series!). And how he still have time to also be… the sole sound director of #ShuumatsuTrain???
I have been insanely bamboozled for almost half the series by the seiyû voicing the FMC Shizuru.
I don't know if it was on purpose, but Chika Anzai has done one hell of a job of mimicking the rasp cutely voice of Yuuki Aoi. #ShuumatsuTrain

Director Tsutomu Mizushima is at his best when he has the most absurdly batshit universe. Not only he makes it work, but he makes it both deep and original without compromising its light and fun setting.

#ShuumatsuTrain wrapped up really nicely. I think there were some elements that felt a little incoherent (like stuff appearing just to be a momentary obstacle while not adding much tension), but on the whole it was a satisfying end to that adventure.

Increasingly convinced that Shizuru is going to be a final antagonist in #ShuumatsuTrain. Her attitude towards people changing seems to be hardening. Last week she insisted she knew about things that stay the same, this week the crew fought manga artists enforcing stale conventions on the world.
