Today’s walk had a view S along the coast of SE Scotland towards the famous geological site of #SiccarPoint. It was along this stretch of coast that #JamesHutton, Sir James Hall and John Playfair sailed in June 1788 in search of the junction between the ‘schistus’ and the overlying red sandstones.
