This is why I share #SimmondsWritingTips (I just wrote one on mental health for writers). It's really hard working in the arts as it's subjective - so hard work and talent won't necessarily get you as far as other industries. It's a lot of trying, faith, and getting seen...and a bit of luck.

Simply put, it's a character's transformation - they start as one thing at the story's beginning then learn and change by the end.

As I said at the beginning, none of these are plots. They're intriguing hooks (see my past #SimmondsWritingTips on hooks) and seeds to grow from. But they're enough of a skeleton to start adding meat to (gross). Who is the kid and what's the matter with their legs? What happened to the church?
