This is probably my favorite. In the early 70s, he made a set of #watercolor paintings to illustrate Lewis Carroll's, Through the Looking Glass. He used a young artist named Celia Wanless as the model for Alice in this 1975 painting.

This is from 1991 for Eric Clapton's album 24 Nights. In 1983 he was awarded the title, Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, and in 2002 he was knighted at Buckingham Palace by Prince (now King) Charles.

I love this piece for all the butterflies. In 1965 he had his first solo exhibition and appeared on the cover of LIFE International in a photo by Lord Anthony Snowden who was married to Princess Margaret.
