Snares are still legal in Ireland. They can cause terrible suffering to animals and are banned in most EU countries. It’s time for Ireland to come out of the dark ages and ban snares. We are grateful to the countries who have banned them – Ireland next!

Snares are particularly nasty things though. I don't like it but I think it's rather quicker and less painful to just shoot the animal, not let it linger in pain trying to chew parts of the body off. In my view #snares need to be banned.
