We're about to at least triple the size of the facility and capacities, being the nation's #gravity-dam-hydro-battery alongside the connected #Tasmanian grid to the mainland. With all the solar and wind capacity plus #Snowy2, it all secures our energy supply.

This is the first part of the #Snowy2 connector, costing a mere $5 billion. Big powerlines are enormously expensive.

(TBF, it will also strengthen the NSW-Victoria via Snowy interconnection, which very much needs to be strengthened.)
