The background of this photo is sand, just lots of sand on the beach - no water is coming near these socks until I weave in all the ends on the inside!

My completed #sockmadness socks for round one. I’m sore my family was really glad to have them finished too - well, except for the ends as each strand has one to two ends where it was inserted or finished off. After those are woven in, finally it will get a soak in water and blocking. 🧦

I finished this morning and was pleased to be notified that I qualified for a team this year. I’ve been in #sockmadness competitions since round 8. Slow but steady creates new #socks.
