🧶 #sockweek2025 is done!
I used this challenge to finish up a lingering WIP.

These Brave the Seasons socks were started last July, and then sat unfinished until this month.

Little challenges like this always help my motivation!

A handknit striped sock with a yellow and orange and dark blue variegated stripey pattern with solid blue heel and toe. It has a strong heel, and there are stitch markers up and down the sock counting rows.

Finished my sock for #SockWeek2025 . Thought I would finish an entire pair but I've been kinda sick and sleeping a lot. The colorway is Knitted Wit Sock in the color Akata Witch, the blue contrast is Knitpicks Gloss in Captain. 🧶🧦

This image shows a close-up of a knitting needle holding a pair of knitted socks in progress, resting on a project bag featuring a whimsical pattern of mermaids and fish in shades of blue, red, yellow, and green. The knitting is made with several different colors of yarn, creating horizontal stripes. From bottom to top, the colors are a brownish-gold, deep red, dark brown, light beige, and a variegated pink/red/white yarn at the top reminiscent of a banana split.

The stitches on the bottom in a brownish-gold color, similar to a waffle cone, are done in a 1 by 1 ribbed pattern, with the remaining sock being worked in a 3 by 1 rib in the colors deep red, dark brown, light beige, and a variegated pink/red/white yarn at the top reminiscent of a banana split.
A bright yellow, translucent stitch marker shaped like a cup of Dole Whip marks progress near the needle at the top. A safety-pin style stitch marker is attached to the knitting on each side to mark the rows completed. A black and white beaded row counter is on the right with numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 visible.
