The sun in the sky surrounded by a halo of light. At the top of the circle is a line at a tangent with some rainbow colors. On one side of the circle is a bright area with some color in it. The sun dog. And a faint curved line goes from the sun dog to an equivalent point on the other side of it. The tops of some trees are visible at the bottom of the photo. Some geese are barely visible on the right side of the halo not far from the sun dog.

Sun halo from my walk this morning. Pretty cool one because you can see not only the 22° halo but also the upper tangent arc, a sun dog and a faint parhelic circle. Solar optics are so cool. #SunHalo #SolarOptics #sky #sun
