An illustration of my character Dr. Wu, a woman in a medical Lolita inspired uniform with scars across her mouth Doctor Wu Aimi, or more commonly known as Dr. Wu, is a woman afflicted by the curse of the kuchisake-onna, a lethal attack leaving her bearing a permanent scarred face and the preoccupation with her own appearance. Although initially overwhelmed by it, in time she has managed to mitigate her curse, even getting to the point she is able to show her face without a mask. She still struggles with self-image issues and sometimes violent urges, but she's getting better every day. She now puts her energy into helping others to make up for her tumultuous past, using her talent with blades to become one of the best doctors in the known world, running her very own clinic. While many of my characters are queer, Dr. Wu being a transgender woman is relatively important to her character so I will highlight it in this case.

A tall man in a long coat with red glasses, a wide brimmed hat, and a cut noose around his neck, his face covered in shadow Fusilado is The Executed Man. An ordinary man who was sentenced to death by firing squad where he took a bullet to the head. He miraculously survived, but the ensuing brain damage left him changed, unconcerned with anything besides his brush with death, seeking out dangerous scenarios and methods of death in hopes of finding some meaning in his experience. However, fate seems to save him from death at the last second every time, making him seemingly immortal along with his inability to feel pain. Fusilado was made for my friend ToastyGhostey's setting Hemocleave, however I liked him enough to port him over to my setting Sole Survivor where his lore is the same, with the addition of being more explicitly saved from death by the antagonist The White Winter.

The reference sheet for my OC Iris Belrose. The text reads: Iris Belrose is a young woman who is from a futuristic society set in America. Orphaned at a young age, she enjoyed a typical existence raised by the state until one day, a global cold war went hot and ended the world as she knew it. Saved at the last moment by her friend, she was frozen until being awakened during the events of the story by Gaius. Awakening in a world now thrown back in technological progress but riddled with magic, she has to navigate a journey to discover what she really wants out of this second chance at life.

Roma Robbinson my OC, a black girl with half dyed blonde hair, half braided head, smeared makeup, and piercings. She wears a ripped leather vest, high waisted pants with a ripped pant leg, leather boots, knee and elbow pads, and glow bracelets on her wrists. The text reads Roma Robbinson is the high priestess and princess of the Church of the Son, a religious group dedicated to hedonism and helping those less fortunate than them. Roma believes in these values but somewhat resents her responsibilities and role, shirking her duties to escape and help people more personally out in the world, donning a Robin Hood-esque persona. Roma joins the core cast much later than the rest of the characters and often ends up the odd one out early on and has a bit of an anti-hero streak. She does end up eventually involved with Gaius. She has the ability to exert a placebo effect on people with her words at will, but this is purely psychological and is not equivalent to mind control.

A reference sheet of my character Gaius, he’s a big broad guy sporting a white button up, several red bandanas including around his wrists, a vest, a big belt with buckle, blue jeans and boots. He has tanned skin and long brown hair Test reads “Gaius Carraway Gaius is a dumb as bricks but kindhearted farm boy. His main claim to fame is being the only son of a famous folk hero who is now retired. However, he also has that spark of heroism in him, and while not the main character, he is driven to help those around him and stand up in the face of overwhelming odds. Besides his strength, Gaius also harbors the power to "lock" energy into objects, temporarily halting or deflecting the damage of blows. While this power might have more to it, Gaius is too dumb to use it more creatively unless it's spelled out. This power was bestowed on him shortly after his birth by a protective goddess of the region, when he was left the sole survivor of triplets. After this he was granted the combined strength of his lost siblings, not only physically but emotionally, so that he might lift others up.”
