Second busiest month of gaming on record since I started logging in 2022. #Solotober fueled most of the plays and I got hooked on Kingdom Builder again.

My last solo game was Paladins of the West Kingdom: my best score so far, I literally crushed the bot at medium difficulty. So satisfying!
Game of Solitaire
Ended #Solotober the same way as last year, with a simple game of Solitaire using the beautifully illustrated deck by @bethsobel.bsky.social.

Lost fairly quickly four times before pulling out a victory at Friday for day thirty of #Solotober.
Tiny Towns board game
Fell just one point shy of being a master builder in Tiny Towns for day twenty nine of #Solotober.
Pandemic: The Cure board game
Successfully cured all the diseases in Pandemic: The Cure on day twenty eight of #Solotober. The Field Operative and Medic were a strong combo that almost cured everything without a single outbreak. However, some oversights led to four on a single turn.
Set a personal best at Juicy Fruits on day twenty seven of #Solotober, but lost to Pineapple (the game's AI).
Played a few games of Can't Stop Express for day twenty four of #Solotober and this was my best result.

Forgot to share my sad game of Yahtzee that I had to squeeze in yesterday for day twenty three of #Solotober.
Played my first two solo games of River Valley Glassworks for day twenty of #Solotober. I love how quickly this plays and very much look forward to trying all of the solo rivals.
Played a new map in The Guild of Merchant Explorers for day nineteen of #Solotober. I think this is a criminally underappreciated title.
Played Nations: The Dice Game for day 18 of #Solotober. This play resulted in completing both of my gaming goals for the year. I've now played 150 unique games a total of 600 times. Everything going forward is just padding the stats.
Only had 9 cards left in The Game for day seventeen of #Solotober. While the rules state having under 10 cards left is an excellent result, anything less than beating the game is disappointing.
Played a few games of NMBR 9 for day sixteen of #Solotober. I scored my second best personal score of 84 in the last game.
Played four games of Metro X for day fifteen of #Solotober. My score increased on the second attempt of both maps and was just one point shy of possessing professional level skill.
Ran out of steam trying to save Washington D.C. in Under Falling Skies for day fourteen of #Solotober.
Played the official solo variant of Terraforming Mars. I’ve always played this way digitally. For the first time I used my physical copy and it was a blast. It’s been a while since the last time I’ve played TM and I was reminded what a great #boardgame it is! #solotober
