queen's 5th album, a day at the races, released on 10 december 1976, is a sequel to their previous album a night at the opera, and is very similar genre-wise it was also their first self-produced album the album has a mix of genres such as metal/hard rock on "tie your mother down" or "white man", pop rock on "drowse" or "you and I", a piano ballad like "you take my breath away", folk music like "long away", or campy glam rock like "good old-fashioned lover boy" "teo torriatte" is a favorite among japanese queen fans and is also played in their concerts whenever they tour japan but the highlights of the album for me are the gospel-inspired "somebody to love" which also has complex harmonies, or the art rock of "millionaire waltz" which changes key throughout the song, and also has complex piano work
