Next, an episode of cool late #1980s #privateeye show #SonnySpoon.
I remember it as being funny/clever and, so far, it is holding up just fine.
By the time this show came out, I knew #StephenJCannell was my favourite writer.
He still is.
I wish this series was better known and more popular.

#SonnySpoon s1e1 (1988)
#MarioVanPeebles is excellent as a fast-talking private eye who investigates the murder of his mentor, who was looking into a simple hit-and-run. Not so simple, it turns out.
There’s action and comedy and a decent story, and Sonny is a very likeable guy.
8/10
