Hey, so, has anyone else noticed how in EVERY video uploaded to @bsky.app (not a YouTube link post, but original video) there's always an audio blip (drop?) at the start of the last 3-4 seconds mark?
(As a test, it should be around 7 seconds on a 10 second video).

#soundSky allows uploads up to the PDS limit (usually 100MB) but larger files are just too hard to load for wavesurfer until we add our own waveforms. To avoid crashing, larger files might fallback to a regular (as in ugly) HTML <audio> player 👇

#soundSky wants to remain a client-side only browser app without any backend so we need to make compromises and store as much info as possible within our posts. In the latest version we're stashing refs to cover artwork using hidden tags! Is this unholy in #atproto? we'll find out soon...
soundSky does not exist as a service. It's an open source client-side vanilla webapp without any cloud backend or owners living on top of bluesky and using your existing account for authentication, storage and search.
