All the #bottomtrawlingbans that are now in place round our coast of Britain are in the south & east!
Ist in place was in #Sussex waters in 2021 then came a ban in the coastal waters of #SouthDorset and the large & important #DoggerBank in the North Sea, after it became a ghost of its former self,

The sea is a lovely bright blue, and looks calm with very small "white horses" on top of the very gentle waves coming in. There are a few people paddling in the sea and a man and boy are walking on the beach on the left, near the viewer. The sea is in a concave shape here, with hotels and houses across the bay, and to the left of them, the art pavilion, gardens on the cliffs and a fort. Above all that is a lovely summer-blue sky.
