- Michigan State pulled a Big 10 and slides out of the top 20 poll

Week 2 Update from my college hockey sim:
- We have a new #1 ranked team with Alaska-Fairbanks blowing out RMU 6-1 and 5-2 in a home-and-home series
- Lake Superior State falls short to Mercyhurst in a 2-1 upset on Thursday, losing the #1 spot.
