The very first 'Dog vs Dog" comic. In this one they're black and white respectively. Their inspiration was from one of the "Spy vs Spy" comics that had some dogs in them.
this too was also inspired by a "Spy vs Spy" strip. And the first time (I think) where they are facing off against Cat.
