And last but not least, Stadium #34, 7/6/25 -
Coors Field in Denver was a good way to end this 34-stadium, 34-year journey. It was a game between TWO historically-awful teams and it was exactly as advertised.
Final Score - Colorado 6, Chicago White Sox 4
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #33, 7/5/25 -
Chase Field in Phoenix is AIR CONDITIONED and that’s good because it was 103° outside. Perfect game through 5.1 IP, an inside-the-park HR, and I ate some tacos that were almost as good as the tacos in San Diego.
Final Score - Arizona 7, Kansas City 1
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #32, 7/4/25 -
Target Field in Minnesota is as nice in person as it looks on tv. Great sightlines, great people, and the home team won on a walkoff home run, so that was cool. Went to the game with Steve and got all caught up.
Final Score - Minnesota 4, Tampa Bay 3

I am starting to plan #StadiumTrippin 2025. I only have three more stadiums.
Since you asked, they are Minnesota, Phoenix, and Denver. There are a number of weekends that line up for me to do all three in three days.
I promise more information on this situation as it develops.
Stadium #31 - Chicago's Guaranteed Rate Field
August 2024, It's nice…ish. The White Sox were historically terrible. The Tigers were average at best. Only three more. Next year, this whole thing will be over.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #30 - San Francisco's Oracle Park
September 2023, The contest is over. The best baseball stadium in America is Oracle Park in San Francisco, CA. Great sightlines, great atmosphere, great food, great people watching… just an all-around fantastic experience.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #29 - Oakland's Coliseum
September 2023, this place felt like those sad pictures of the abandoned Astrodome and not at all in a good way. Miguel Cabrera went 0-for-4 in his final game there. Everything about this game and experience was sad…
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #28 - DC's Nationals Park
August 2019, Fantasy Football Draft weekend is not complete without another stadium. It was a tie game, super hot, super uncomfortable, and we left. The stadium was nice, but they are seriously all the same at this point.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #27 - Miami's Marlins Park
September 2018, while visiting a cousin, great-aunt, and grandmother, I squeezed in a goddamned gem of a ballpark. The neighborhood sucked. The garages sucked. The outside heat sucked. Inside was AWESOME!
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #26 - Atlanta's Sun Trust Park
September 2018, my first time going to a baseball game and won a free ER trip afterward (heatstroke and dehydration). Thankfully, my mom's best friend was there to take care of me.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #25 - Cincinnatti's Great American Ballpark
September 2017, 594 total miles driven in one day. It featured the third-nicest stadium staff I've ever met, GREAT sightlines, and reminded me a lot of Pittsburgh's PNC Park (the river, the view beyond right field).
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #24 - San Diego's Petco Park
September 2015, definitely in my Top 5. It's clean, easy to get around, nice people, FANTASTIC food, PHENOMENAL sightlines. This was, by far, the most pleasantly surprised I've been at a ballpark since Kansas City. Awesome Awesome Awesome.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #23 - Anaheim's Angels Stadium
September 2015, flew across the country, drove two more hours, and entered a party with a baseball game on in the background. It was nice and clean.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #22 - Arlington's Texas Ballpark
April 2011, as nice as the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington is, it just reminded us too much of a combination of Citi Field, Camden Yards, and every other enclosed stadium we've been to.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #21 - Houston's Minute Maid Park
April 2011, 95 degrees outside, only 89 degrees inside! A lot of nice features (including the center field berm) and I almost caught a batting practice home run.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #20 - Seattle's Safeco Field
August 2010, I didn't see a game here. I went on a tour about three hours before getting on an Alaskan cruise. I liked what I saw.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #19 - Kansas City's Kaufman Stadium
June 2010, it's clean, spacious, plenty of parking, and very fan-friendly. While I wouldn't say it was my favorite park or that it's in my top 5, I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked the stadium. Congrats KC, you've done good!
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #18 - St. Louis Busch Stadium
June 2010, it was hot as hell and the people could not have been more nice to us. 750 people threw out separate first pitches (I wish I was exaggerating) and no one seemed to mind our mismatched Sox/Yankees outfits.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #17 - New York's Yankee Stadium NEW
May 2010, absolutely beautiful and amazing and stunning stunning. And the Yankees lost this game, so that made it even better.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #16 - New York's Citi Field
June 2009, while I wasn't overly impressed with the place, it was big and clean and nice. Not my favorite though.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #15 - Milwaukee's Miller Park
May 2008, this is a shot of from our $6 seats atop the stadium. This was the best stadium we went to together.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #14 - Chicago's Wrigley Field
May 2008, After a two-hour rain delay, we had to leave the game in the fourth inning. The Cubs were down 8-1 when we left. They came back and won the game 10-9. The greatest comeback in Cubs history. And we missed it.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #13 - Detroit's Comerica Park
July 2007, to me, it was more like an amusement park than a baseball stadium. I was a little disappointed.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #12 - Cleveland's Jacobs Field
July 2007, the game wasn't so memorable but the postgame hail storm forced us to hang out in a bar for about four hours afterwards. Not that we minded.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #11 - Pittsburgh's PNC Park
July 2007, the Pirates hit a first-inning grand slam and won very easily. This is the stadium where our names got on the scoreboard and the mascot visited us personally thanks to my then-girlfriend's (now wife's) dad and his connections.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #10 - New York's Yankee Stadium
July 2006, I guess the place was nice, except for all the Yankee fans. Wang threw a two-hitter and I couldn't wait to get out of there.
#StadiumTrippin
Stadium #9 - Baltimore's Camden Yards
April 2006, don't travel with 10 other people don't travel with 10 other people don't travel with 10 other people don't travel with 10 other people don't travel with 10 other people don't travel with 10 other people
