My biggest problem with #StarTrek #StarTrekTAS is that its German title was "Die Enterprise." My subconscious insists on reading that in English and adding a comma, so...
(It just means "The Enterprise," after TOS was "Spaceship Enterprise.") 😉😂🖖

I went to make an Instagram post of this and went to add the #StarTrekTAS theme song and it is completely missing. There are two things that are labeled animated series. One is a heavy metal something and the other is a weird Anime version of the Enterprise theme. I wonder what happened.🖖

An image split into the top half is the animated versions of Kirk and Spock from the 1973 Star Trek animated series program, they are wearing life-support belts which is a wide gray belt worn around the waist, which generates a yellow glow around the outside of them, which is simulating a force field that acts like a space suit. The bottom, half of the image is a scene from this week, Starfleet Academy showing a "plasma shield" being activated from a button their sits at the top of the sternum on the chest and creates a similar field to the Life Support Belt but this is a growing green hex field pattern that glows to star with then mostly disappears when fully active.
I think this week's #StarfleetAcademy might be the closest thing we get to the #StarTrekTAS life support belt on screen, unless #StarTrekSNW decides to show early testing of the device. And given when they did the the Recreation Room...I'm ok with them not!
