40th anniversary screening of An American Tail (1986) anybody? Or The Court Jester (1956) in VistaVision? The Great Caruso (1951) with Ann Blyth in attendance? Poolside screening of The Rocketeer (1991)? How about Modern Times (1936) with a live symphony orchestra?

There are still two days left of the fest and I’m already thinking about movies for next year.

Rewatching The Apartment (1960) and feeling sorry for Jack Lemmon that he doesn’t have TCM so he can’t watch Grand Hotel (1932) without commercials. It didn’t exist yet, but if it had’ve, he wouldn’t have had to worry about commercial interruptions.

I just saw that Method Man was presenting Sunset Boulevard (1950) at the TCM Classic Film Festival and man, I wish I had thought of that.

Lucie Mannheim and Robert Donat in The 39 Steps (1935).

Our 4th Annual #StayAtHomeFilmFestival is off and running. Our opening film The Gold Rush (1925) was a smashing success and we have so much more in store. Now watching The 39 Steps (1935) for the first time. (I’ve seen the play.)
