I don't expect a lot from my hometown airports, but one thing I do expect is to see LOCAL (as in, beer brewed in MY town) craft beer. Today, while flying out of Lubbock, TX, there was not a single beer on draft or in package despite there being 4 breweries here.

A full pint glass of Guinness with a photo of a man wearing a race medal from the Valencia Marathon sits on a bar top.
I can't say this has been a lifelong goal, but man it's pretty cool seeing my #MedalMonday photo after running the Valencia Marathon last month printed in beer foam. #ThirstyThursday #StevenExploresLBK
View of two creep female dolls sitting on swings in a tree in front of a house. The dolls resemble Annabelle from the eponymous movie.
A mock construction scene with workers in safety vests that are plastic skeletons. On the right side, one holds a sign that says, "Nightmare on 19th Street."
Today's run through a dog-safe neighborhood was really enjoyable, as I found more than a few Halloween scenes. #StevenRuns #StevenExploresLBK #RunChat
A wrought iron fence in front of a few steps with signage that says, "Robbins Nest." The building is made of red brick with a res, metal roof.
View behind a bar with multiple bottles of liquor, including an infamous bottle of Jeppson’s Malört.
A shot glass with Jeppson’s Malört sits next to a bottle of Lone Star Beer. Both sit on a white cocktail napkin with a bar counter top in the background full of liquor bottles whole a set of metal tubs of iced bottles of beer are in the foreground.
In honor of #NationalDiveBarDay, @travelingtvi.bsky.social & I hit up Robbins Nest in Lubbock, TX. It was perfect and got even better when I found out they served Malört, so we did a Texas Handshake! #StevenExploresLBK
