Last pic before I headed in for a morning walk in. this is an old cemetery (behind me) left behind after the government took the land. It lies between the Tennessee and Cumberland rivers (imminent domain to build the national rec area) and moved entire communities out generations ago. Families were made promises that the gov never followed through with... So even when you're walking in the woods, you're seeing some remnants from the past 💙

I just spent the past 3 days in the woods at Land between the Lakes on a quota deer hunt.
