I had a random idea, and after talking it through with my wife (and fellow painter) I'm going to paint my Harlequin Solitaire with black 4.0 and then highlight edges with sci-fi blue... Details like mask, gems, armor, etc will be gold.

a picture by Stewart Semple that tries to illustrate how good his paint is but the photograph is incredibly disingenuous. Over the photo white point sample has been added to show the degree of lighting different between his painted area and the competition.

This is from a series of old blog posts on my website. I wanted to evaluate the quality of black paints based on reflectivity/surface quality and actual pigment. This came about after the silliness that Stuart Semple tried to pass off
