I'm participating in the #StitchingTheSituation stitchathon this month. You can make a single donation or pledge to donate by number of stitches or time spent stitching. The project is a data visualization of COVID cases and deaths as reported by Johns Hopkins. stitchingthesituation.org/en/donate
Apparently the friction from the sides of the hole is too much for my cheapass generic dremel to make it all the way through the dowel rods I got, so I've been stuck on #StitchingTheSituation (need to extend my embroidery frame bc my assigned project is bigger than I've ever done).
i.e., the dowels for making my embroidery frame wide enough for #StitchingTheSituation are in!
IDK if a Cybertruck would have been able to get them home, but my Sebring Convertible did just fine.
A piece of cross stitch fabric with a dowel shorter than its with set on it
Just ordered longer dowels to pick up for my #embroidery frame bc tired of having less than the recommended amount of hands for my #StitchingTheSituation project. Tomorrow/the day after I get to figure out how to cut down the middle of it.
A roll of cross stitch fabric with a red square stitched in the corner and a blue line along the top. It's clipped with barrettes at the ends.
Going to need to get some dowels to expand my embroidery frame for #StitchingTheSituation!
