Der Ring des ehemaligen Häftlings des Konzentrationslagers #Neuengamme, Czesław Drozdzyniak, wurde an die Familie seines Bruders übergeben, die dazu eigens aus Belgien angereist war. Die Rückgabe erfolgte im Rahmen der Initiative #StolenMemory der Arolsen Archives:

Stanisław Sztylka’s pocket watch has returned to Warsaw after 80 years as part of the #StolenMemory campaign. Arrested during the 1944 Warsaw Uprising, he was deported to a concentration camp. It will now be on display at the Warsaw Museum as a reminder of the German occupation of Warsaw.

Pierre Chancelier carried with him these photos of a summer day spent with friends on the sea when the Nazis deported him from France to the Neuengamme concentration camp early in June 1944. In 2023, we were able to return his last possessions to his family. #StolenMemory

Zofia Mościcka survived Ravensbrück and Neuengamme concentration camps. Now her granddaughter received a ring that had been confiscated by the SS in the camps. Students from a school in Łańcut found Zofia’s family through their work on the #StolenMemory campaign. Read the whole story:
