New at #Stormwatch912: With no Tormenta games, I asked for some advice on who to follow in USL1 this season. Several people were kind enough to pitch me on why I should watch their team for the 2026 season.

New at #Stormwatch912: I needed to write something fun not about Tormenta's current situation. I don't know if I succeeded, but I tried. A free idea for
@forwardmadisonfc.bsky.social or AC Boise (maybe other teams, I didn't check everyone's schedule.)

New at #Stormwatch912: Those things were fun, and fun is good.
Tormenta suspends operations for 2026 and I wrote a lot of words that, hopefully, make sense.

New at #Stormwatch912: Tormenta's USL-W League schedule is announced. Go ahead and circle June 21 on the calendar.

New at #Stormwatch912: My third year of appropriating @craigcalcaterra.bsky.social's idea, it's your 2026 USL League One Most Handsome Manager Rankings.

Assuming nothing crazy happens, be on the lookout for a new #Stormwatch912 tomorrow.
As the band Staind sang back in 2001, "It's Been Awhile" but #Stormwatch912 is back with a recap of @tormentafc.bsky.social's offseason moves so far as we prepare to kick of Tormenta's 10th season.

Because one of the rules of journalism is to localize a story for your audience, FC Dallas is where former Tormenta PR Legend Edwin Pintor works now as the Senior Manager, Media Relations.
If you enjoy #Stormwatch912 at all, Edwin deserves a lot credit as he encouraged me to start it.
New at #Stormwatch912: Niall Reid-Stephen is transferred so we reflect on Jersey Guys and the fact that every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end.

New at #Stormwatch912: Tormenta's schedule for the 2026 season is released and boy is it frontloaded.
stormwatch912.blogspot.com/2025/12/sout...
New at #Stormwatch912: After losing Austin Pack and the end of the season, Tormenta moves quickly to sign the top USL1 goalkeeper available, snagging Sean Lewis from One Knox.

New at #Stormwatch912: A quick goodbye to the first four players Tormenta announced would not be returning for 2025.
And for good measure, there's some Young MC nuggets in there too because I can only be myself.

In the event you missed this yesterday at #Stormwatch912, we talk about not drawing any grand meaning from one game and wrap up the Tormenta season.
New at #Stormwatch912: I could try to recap the Tormenta/Velocity game, or we can all just kind of agree "hey, that happened, wasn't that a hell of a thing?"

I take every excuse, to join #Stormwatch912 to snicker about the ant hills in Statesboro
If you missed it this week, I've got two @tormentafc.bsky.social articles leading up to Sunday's matchup with Spokane:
#Stormwatch912: Postseason Potpourri: stormwatch912.blogspot.com/2025/10/post...
Statesboro Herald: Tormenta on to League One playoffs: www.statesboroherald.com/sports/torme...
If you bribe me with another writing duty for the #Stormwatch912 blog, I might even let you win 3-0 against us and getting the title too!
New at #Stormwatch912: Postseason Potpourri: Thoughts on Ian Cameron's impact on Tormenta's playoff run, a section on the future of the playoffs, and Mark McKeever's gratitude on coaching again.

Tomorrow at #Stormwatch912: A potpourri of topics that I've been mulling in my brain but haven't been able to get a full blog post about.
New at #Stormwatch912: One more home game before (an incredibly high chance of) a road playoff game, but we break down what would need to happen to have another game a Tormenta Stadium after Saturday and then take a look at Texoma.
stormwatch912.blogspot.com/2025/10/one-...
Tomorrow at #Stormwatch912: a look at Texoma and the playoffs ahead (including what we need for Tormenta to host in the first round.)
New at #Stormwatch912: Tormenta and Greenville meet for the fourth (!?!) time this season and we try not to get ahead of ourselves talking about the playoffs.
stormwatch912.blogspot.com/2025/10/we-m...
In writing up my blog post for #Stormwatch912 for tomorrow, I came across this: Connor Evans of Greenville leads the league with 66 chances created. The difference between him and second place (Charlie Ostrem, 50) is the same as 2nd place is to 12th place (Max Schneider, 34)
New at #Stormwatch912: Instant reaction to Tormenta and Spokane's 1-1 draw.

Apologies for the lack of #Stormwatch912 posts this week. Sometimes things just get away from you and it doesn't happen. I don't have a Tormenta cheering guide for you, but if you're a fan of chaos, I did spend one morning earlier this week figuring out the most USL League One thing possible.
Due to work being busy and going to watch my oldest's cross country meet yesterday (22:34 on a hilly course), no #Stormwatch912 today, but there is a game tonight and that's always a good thing.
New at #Stormwatch912: Inside the Tormenta Manager Search. that ultimately ended with Mark McKeever earning the job.
stormwatch912.blogspot.com/2025/09/insi...
Coming tomorrow at #Stormwatch912: A glimpse inside the @tormentafc.bsky.social search that ended with Mark McKeever being named the permanent head coach.
How I look and wait every week, waiting for a new #Stormwatch912 blog of @lukermartin.bsky.social! #TRMvRIC
New at #Stormwatch912: A preview of Tormenta's matchup with Richmond and your weekend cheering guide for Tormenta fans.
