To be fair, it wasn’t that he had been unaware of the (in)famous kitsune who had claimed these woods as his territory and enforced ruthless boundaries over it. But Tetchô needed to pass by anyway, and had figured it would be fine if he simply did so while not bothering said kitsune or any other creature by that matter. Big mistake. Big mistake, and he didn’t even realize until he heard laughter coming from somewhere close. Then, in a matter of seconds, someone was behind him-- and not just a random someone. “Do you perhaps have a death wish, human?” Was all he got as a warning, barely managing to dodge a sharp set of clawed nails directed towards his neck. “... No.” He managed to say, once having made sure he had avoided the most immediate danger. Emphasis on ‘the most immediate’, though, since Tetchô wasn’t so foolish to think everything would be over soon. Even if he had been foolish enough to think just being inside said territory wouldn’t be considered an offense. “Then you should have considered more carefully where you were getting into, both literally and metaphorically.”
“Fair enough.” Tetchô replied, earning himself a velvety laugh in response. Turning around since no new attack seemed to be coming so far, he used up that fact as a chance to take a look at the kitsune-- and the sight before him couldn’t be described as anything else but otherworldly beauty. With white hair which turned red at the tips, fur on his ears and tails to match and a smug expression on his face, everything formed quite a consistent image: alluring, yet dangerous. Tetchô shouldn’t let the first part make him forget the second, or he might as well meet his doom in that forest, at the hands of said kitsune.
Little did he know what he had gotten himself into indeed, or how the future was looking brighter than it may seem. “My apologies.” He said, putting an effort to sound as polite and non-threatening as possible. Perhaps solving things peacefully was still an option. “I was merely taking a shortcut, thinking it would be no issue.” “Well, you thought wrong.” “I see it now, yes.” Tetchô swiftly agreed. “Please, allow me to continue. I can assure you I will never make the mistake of bothering you again.” The kitsune offered him a big smile, in a way that signaled he was up to something, as he stepped towards his direction. For a lack of a better idea, Tetchô chose to stay where he was, lest moving was interpreted as him trying to fight or flee… and he stood even more still when the other’s first gesture upon approaching him was pulling on his clothes to bring him closer. “There will be no leaving.” Came as a whisper in his ear, one which sent chills running down his spine for a myriad of reasons. “Usually, humans cannot dodge a single scratch, so I am positive we can have so much fun together.” “Which means?” “You are mine now, human.”
