Prompt: Summer Sadness A Fleeting Summer Romance Unfurling my habiliments upon Summer’s hedonistic stage, I flutter in the warm morning breeze. Delicate as spider’s silk, my prismatic vestments enchant my first apian lover, seducing her to dance with me. I covet for her attention. She strokes my style, exploring my inner most sanctum. As her tongue delves into my stigma to suckle my nectar, a shuddering sigh is heard on the wind. She is the first of many lovers. The next day, my dress withered, no lover comes to visit me. I am forgotten, cast aside. The lingering memory of that one glorious day ripens within me.
