Hand knit cowl in gingerbread pattern in purples
It’s WIPs week for #showmeyourknits 🧶 This one is off the needles but ends need to be woven in and then blocked. Pattern is Gingerbread Cowl by #tellybeanknits and yarn is from #SunshineYarns

Centered in the photo is a handknitted collar (the beginning of a top down sweater) on circular knitting needles. In the open space at the center is a small ball of leftover purple yarn. Above all of this sits a cake of white laceweight alpaca, which has been carried alongside the purple to make a marled effect.
Finished my weaving project just in time to cast on for Yarnvent 2024! This year I got a fade from Sunshine Yarns - day one is a beautiful plummy purple and I made it through the folded ribbing. Tomorrow we start short rows and cables #Advent #Knitting #SunshineYarns
