Darkseid Saturn Girl walks Clark/Superman down memory lane with emotional events from Clark's past including his time with the Legion, his time as a father and his being Superman

Darkseid Saturn Girl is punished by Darkseid because of contacting Superman directly and is pulled back to be with her master.

Darkseid Saturn Girl takes Lois Lane down memory lane, seeing emotional loving touchpoints with her relationship with Clark including their first meeting, his reveal of his secret identity, the birth of Jon, her being Superwoman. But this also triggers loving memories of Saturn Girl's relationship with Lightning Lad, which causes dissonance in Saturn Girl because love is a forbidden emotion in Darkseid's universe.

Darkseid Saturn Girl is distraught because her feelings of love for Lightning Lad have disrupted her commune with Darkseid. Superboy Prime kicks the butt of Darkseid versions of Lightning Lad and Cosmic Boy.

And its no coincidence that these happen at the beginning and the end of DCKO...

Lovely bookends.
