5) In peer healing spaces, you might initially go into fewer intensely vulnerable details or move more slowly through the content to allow trust to be built.
6) Organizers of larger events or media engagements may consider what might help create a container of trust in that context.

1) Invest in survivor leadership, professional development, and skills beyond just storytelling or case management roles. Recommendation 6. Continually invest in survivors along the continuum from initiation of support to the highest levels of leadership
2) "We cannot create effective anti-trafficking policies and programming without meaningful input from people with lived experience, and we cannot get relevant, quality recommendations without investing in survivors at the earlier levels of survivor engagement." Also, investing in survivors at all stages reduces lateral violence by decreasing economic competition that pits survivors against each other out of desperation.
Invest in and then value survivors for their professional development skills, rather than only seeing them as a story to share, which can cause harm as it makes them to engage with their trauma over and over. #SurvivorLeadership #MeaningfulEngagement
