Page five of a TADC fan comic. The first panel shows Pomni sitting in the hallway against the frame of Jax’s door. In the next panel, Gangle’s walking past and stops to ask “He’s still in there?” Pomni replies “Yep.” Gangle continues “it’s been days” and Pomni repeats “Yep.” In the next panel, Zooble, who’s slightly altered her dragon body from the last page, says “you’re not supposed to do that alone”, and Pomni annoyedly says “You’re really not.” Through the door, Jax yells “I’m fine!” and Pomni yells back “an the fact you can still yell that regularly is the only reason I haven’t busted the door down!” The next few panels show her sitting against the door looking worried, slumping and falling asleep, and Ragatha’s hand placing a blanket over her.
Final page. Jax’s door creaks open, and Pomni wakes at the noise, looks down at the blanket and smiles, then looks over at the door again. Jax, mostly invisible behind the door except for one hand, says “geez, you’re still here?” Pomni, scootching backwards across the hall, replies “Of course I’m still—“ The next panel, much larger, shows Jax emerging from her room, having changed up her avatar a bit. She now has eyelashes, a slight bust, and is wearing a halter-necked shortall and leg warmers. Pomni smiles, finishing her sentence “—here. Welcome back.”

Page three of a Digital Circus fancomic. A label shows it’s later than the first two pages. Ragatha approaches Pomni, scratching the nape of her neck, and asks “Pomni! Would you, uh, babysit me while I edit?” Pomni replies “Oh— sure!”. Through Ragatha’s closed door, we hear her say “I’m not gonna change much for now, but…” In the next panel, the two of them are walking down the hallway, Ragatha happily swinging her arms out. She’s changed her skin colour to a medium brown, her hair is longer and a slightly darker red, her hands now have five fingers, and her dress is no longer patched but has buttons down the front and a darker belt section. Ragatha says “It feels good to look a little like myself again!” Pomni adds “plus you can finally use that piano in your room. Keeping the button, though?” Ragatha replies “Yeah, I’m used to it by now. Couldn’t use that eye anyway. Do you have plans, Pomni?” In the next panel, Pomni holds a hand over her head, musing “I might made myself a little taller… shrink my head a little… I’ve gotten surprisingly used to the colours, though. I never would have worn anything this garish in real life.” She looks aside awkwardly as she corrects herself “Or, uh. Our other life. You know.” Ragatha puts a hand comfortingly on her shoulder and Pomni smiles up at her gratefully as she says “I know. Any time you want to mess with it, I can be around to keep watch.”
Page four is wordless. Ragatha and Pomni walk away together, and closer to the viewer Jax watches them, face not visible. In the next panel, Gangle and Zooble are talking, both having altered their appearances— Zooble is now a large orange dragon-like monster with asymmetrical horns, grinning at Gangle, who’s wearing a navy pleated skirt and halter top, and has given herself cat ears on her mask and a ribbon tail. In the background is the silhouette of Jax watching. The next panel shows Kinger, Ragatha, and Pomni having a chat; Pomni has removed her hat and given herself a clean bob haircut and changed her jester outfit into more of a jumpsuit with flared sleeves and shorts rather than balloons; she’s also made her eyes simply heterochromic rather than segmented. Kinger’s only alteration is a wedding ring. The next pose shows Jax watching them from a high place with a haunted expression; we then see Pomni smile up at Jax, to which Jax responds by running away.

Page one of a Digital Circus fancomic set some time after episode eight. In the first panel, the human cast minus Kinger stands in a line summoning items— a box of copic markers for Gangle, a pair of headphones for Zooble, a cupcake for Ragatha, a coffee for Pomni, and a hot chocolate for Jax. In the next panel, Kinger beams and says “I’m so proud of you all! You’ve taken to conjuring like real champs!” Zooble puts in “Well… not so much.” Kinger asks “oh?” and they continue “I tried to alter my body the other day and it just didn’t take. Like… at all.” Kinger proceeds to explain “well, there’s a difference between creating something and altering something— especially something with as much else riding on it as an avatar.” Zooble says “so I’m screwed, then,” as Gangle puts a hand on their shoulder. Kinger replies “No, no, not at all. It’s difficult, not impossible.”
Page two. Jax drawls “didn’t you say you were getting used to it, anyway? Accepting it or whatever?” Zooble, thoughtfully, replies “I said I was getting fine with changing, and I am. I want to change, especially now that I’m not beating myself up for not ‘picking’ something. I just want some options I actually like. With, y’know, internal consistency and shit.” In a small insert panel, Jax says with a shit-eating grin “and a snatch, probably”. Zooble replies “it is none of your business what I put in my bodies” while Gangle blushes furiously. Zooble then asks “but it is possible?” Across the next three panels, Kinger explains while gesturing: “It is! It takes a bit of futzing with the code. I’ll teach you the command prompts to put your avatars into edit mode. Don’t do it alone, though. Your consciousness is partitioned off, so you can’t do anything irreversible, but you might not be able to get out by yourself if you glitch it. So call for me right away if anything gets hinky.” Pomni, charmed, mutters ‘hinky…’
