I’m having such a great text conversation on this topic by text with a researcher/ professor emeritus that I met at the #TFRI10SM and the relationships I made there. My heart is so full with caring people!
I emailed a bunch of #TFRI10SM attendees I thought might still be at the hotel to grab it from the meeting room. With their & hotel security’s help, I now have my belongings (and pride!) back. Thanks to all who helped! @TerryFoxCanada @tfri_research @marathonofhope @petermothe
What a great weekend hearing about precision oncology research, meeting the brilliant minds behind the science, other cancer patients and making new friends! #TFRI10SM @marathonofhope @tfri_research @TerryFoxCanada
Really enjoying @lum_lab’s presentation on tumour-driven immunosuppression. #TFRI10SM
I was thrilled to ask @BenjaminKannMD about his thoughts on how AI might ⬆️ sensitivity & ⬇️ the chances of missing faint lesions. This was my case; I was diagnosed stage 3, but a MRI part-way through treatment revealed bone mets. I was restaged de novo stage 4. #TFRI10SM

Interesting comment from panelist: we need better screening for Canadians, at any age and any location. This was not in relation to breast cancer but to cancers in general. Having the patient perspective is critical. @cantaskforce #TFRI10SM #ScreenBetterCanada
