National Weather Service 5:45 PM EDT September 27, 2025 Raleigh, NC National Weather Service Latest NHC Track Forecast Tropical Depression Nine 1.Tropical Depression Nine will track north-northwestward across the Bahamas through Sunday night and approach the Southeast U.S. coast early next week. Confidence in the track and intensity decreases Tuesday onward. 2.Tropical Depression Nine is expected to be at or near hurricane intensity when it is closest to the Southeast U.S. coast early next week, with its forward motion significantly slowing and perhaps briefly stalling off the Southeast coast. It may move east Tuesday into Wednesday, though an alternate scenario still is possible with a westward turn toward South Carolina. 3.Forecast confidence is likely to increase in its track after Tropical Depression Nine develops a well-defined circulation, which may take another 12-24 hours. #Murica #TD9 #TSImeldaMaybe
